An older version since 1966, but the best because superbly sung in the four main roles: Carlo Bergonzi, bright Riccardo, Leontyne Price too quickly forgotten by the recording studios but ideal partner, Shirley Verrett great Ulrica and the solid Renato Robert Merrill. Only Reri Grist is back and a little "sour".
