Spirit is a solid pop album, which has well-crafted songs. Leonas voice is amazing, intense and what a vocal range! However, I would have liked more variety in the choice of songs. Well, there is melancholy, sad ballads like my Favorite "Homeless", but where are the up-tempo numbers? The missing me then but a bit in order to assess the album as consistent. Too bad I also find that "A Moment Like This" is not to be found on the album. This song had the ballad-heavy album rather completes than disturbing.
Certainly Leona Lewis will soon be able to call for Best Newcomer some music awards her own. It is undoubtedly very talented and is at the beginning iher career in the music business.
If they Weier makes so that she might be called one day in the same breath with Mariah and Witney, the voice to it definitely has.
