On this album, however, is the consistent scaling back the tempo classic Beatsteaks sound for me a problem. Almost all the songs of this album are placed in the mid-tempo and have a tendency to uniformity on. While the individual songs to know almost to please all acts always the same pace with the classical, but at some point too monotonous Beatsteaks sound tiresome on this panel permanently. Exceptions like the song "Wicked Witch", which has a refreshing change of pace are, for me, unfortunately, clearly the weaker songs of the band.
Is that the album for me is less than the sum of its parts is precisely in this aspect buried that all songs by consistent pace and sound just barely provide refreshing diversions in itself is not bad and sometimes liked, but in combination. That this even at an already relatively scarce playing time of about 33 minutes expresses makes this aspect even more precarious to me. Therefore, the songs of this album will surely find its way into my MP3 collection, a whole album, they are of me but certainly rarely heard. Complicating factor, unfortunately, that I have at least been perceived on this album still no outliers upwards. "I do not care as long as you sing" can be so wonderful can cite as example that the band manages to write slower ingenious numbers. Such a highlight for me is missing but on this plate.
Who could always make friends with the primary midtempo numbers the band will certainly have his pleasure with this album, because it has neither bad music one more change in style. But who expected on an album a certain variety should perhaps consider this purchase again.
