Our stock of Classic cartridges was just at the end and cheaper spar not in sight, there was this years range of Maxtra cartridges very tempting and after a few years, one must also sometimes treat themselves to a new pot. In the dark blue with the blue-transparent use of it looks a lot nicer in the kitchen and you can see a direct comparison first time, as the old scruffy looks after time. The new cartridges allow the water to pass through more quickly and will have a higher capacity - ie everything great? Unfortunately not, because the build quality compared to the old "Fjord" -Kanne (anno 2006) has unfortunately declined significantly: - The transparent use is too loose in the pot, when pouring the lid dissolves when one does not sit on the other hand - The Brita service has indeed delivered replacement for free, but who the Einsatzt only in transparent "white" and not in "blue", but this sits significantly stronger in the pot - Meanwhile, the pot was in blue at Amazon available again and we have requested an exchange: here the application was only marginally better, but the pouring flap from the cover was not as hakelig as in the first - The jug has rough burrs - The lid, which still accurately passed to grips with the old model is now sharp from
In the final inspection is therefore still room for improvement, but the function we are convinced that the coffee tastes better and the pots calcify less during cooking.
