"Secret" by Anna Maria Jopek is certainly one of the albums that you can hear just about every season. Not that it would be easy listening; it's just so easy and so straightforward that it goes well with the summer and again reminiscent of the summer in winter. When I hear this record, I am always happy to Use New to hear such a good voice, together with almost produced music. As Sting fan I find it particularly interesting, sometimes interpreted some of his pieces by a female voice and in addition to hearing a completely new package. But what a little annoys me is the fact that it also steals pieces of Sting, without it the name attribute. So is "The Wind" by AM Jopek very, very similar when compared "It's Probably Me" by Sting. Dear reader, do not hesitate to times even the audition! It will not shake the feeling that AM Jopek has here taken on more than just a basic idea. Here AM Jopek might have been good for a little more independence. Finally, I want to hear no plagiarism, but new ideas.
Nevertheless, their plate is really worth listening to and to recommend to anyone who likes jazz sounds. Just an enchanting voice and certainly one of the next great jazz voices!
