Already my third pair of shoes from Lafuma. I bought specially for the summer or for fair-weather walks shoes. The shoes have no Goretex membrane, but this summer has the advantage that the foot by the fine and relatively thin tissue is well ventilated and protected from dust, sand and light rain. It is one of the few shoes on the market which are half-height and yet well permeable to air (well since gibs nor Meindl "Safari" but cost double and are of the sole forth very hard). I could while vacationing on the Belgian coast, the shoes every day to test whether to wear while hiking in the dunes or in hours of sightseeing on Flemish cobblestones, the shoes are simply pleasant. The sole is very handy, not too soft and not too hard. The foot is kept very well though the shoe is very light. The entry is possible easily and without shoehorn. The laces are of good quality and also long enough. The only drawback: as the shoes were purchased from Amazon they have relatively strong smelled of glue (made in China), I have the insoles einfernt and lifted the shoes so Outdoors 2 days, after the glue smell was gone. I would buy despite initial glue smell the shoes again, and recommend to friends.
