The Unquestionable Truth (Part 1) (Limited Digipak) (Audio CD)

Customer Review

The return of the "prodigal son" Wes Borland and the Alleged Drug Problems John Otto
could advance suggests that the new album would be no Kuschelrock. And so back with Wes now also
on results may vary sorely missed hardness back.
The Unquestionable Truth Part 1 is raw and heavy metal and therefore does have the property, the listener at
first musical to slay. A comparison with Metallica's St. Anger comes to mind and is not basically
outlandish. Both albums are musical and emotional release strikes without regard for losses.
You can tell that it was for at Limp Bizkit at the time, but the band was with their transition guitarist
Mike Smith never reach their full potential.
The CD has a relatively short playing time, admittedly with less than 30 minutes. This is, however, that soon
Part 2 will follow, which will complete the first part (similarities to Kill Bill is entirely coincidental ;-)
Here I would note however that one star rating because of the short season and still
high price is not justified, as the band has made it clear on their HP that the price of an EP
has stated (probably in the range 7-9), but the record stores have the last word on the price.
The CD starts with "The Propaganda", a pounding machine gun riff and Fred Durst, who absinthe influence
gets going with dissonant vocal. Even here you can hear clearly Wes's influence, because the riffs to belong to TUT
hardest, but also best what Limp Bizkit has long been accomplished.
Immediately afterwards follows the certainly best song on the album "The Truth". After a dark intro a brilliant follows
Bassline and a catchy chorus.
"The Priest," "The Story" and "The Channel" are also brutal, but still know after repeated listening
to please. The vocals of Fred moves in between songs called Chanting, wailing and pure aggression,
what one hand is certainly intentional, but then also the sound and the album overall fit. "The Key"
is likely to be seen as hip-hop Interlude, since it takes only 1:24.
"The Surrender" is a quiet song, which lets end the CD, in which, although not legally arises even harmony,
However, a song a la "Behind Blue Eyes" would not have sat fits here. Fred's voice sounds in this song
sometimes a bit 'oblique', but one has to note that some members "The Surrender" as well as the rest of the album does not
Has produced "to death" but the listener provides unfiltered fare.
The Unquestionable Truth is the musical eruption, have been waiting for many fans of the early Limp Bizkit-Werke
be, but the - that's for sure - will not find favor with all listeners.
To say it with the words of Heraclitus:
"If you are looking for the truth, is open to the unexpected, because it is hard to find and confusing,
if you find it "
