The fabric looks anything but "cheap" or in any way badly processed. This is a small stuffed animal with a small compartment at the back which is closed with a Velcro the device insert hides. Thus a dragon noise arises when you yourself (or gift recipient) the cuddly thing expresses so very doll :-).
