Positive: Graphics in my opinion is quite okay. Arsenal is very nice, and you have in older Rainbow Series larger (in Vegas) selection. Very good I like the individual shapes of the player character. Unlike older Rainbow series both opponents and your teammates behave quite intelligent.
Negatives: Tactics is written not really big in this game. The procedure with silencer brings very little, because the course of action is largely scripted and even in silent approach suddenly 10 enemies stand before you (simply because you trigger the script with exceeding certain waypoints and enemies suddenly appear from nowhere). Due to the many scripts and the predetermined path (you can on the card certainly not run because there is only one possible way) is the potential of the game and quickly depleted. That was much better at Ravenshield where it usually maps with many different ways to approach and gave the players VA could decide how he is going.
Rainbow Six Vegas 2 thus fits for me among the so-called "shooting games" and has to do with tactics very little.
Note: to mark enemies with a so-called Snake cam and then to send my team into the room, for me is not tactical approach! Tactical approach requires always associated with the development of a plan and the search for the best approach. More and for me All that does not exist in Vegas 2 or very, very limited.
Would it be a good single player give as a change to the campaign that could make much of the above again good for me. Indeed, there is then also the so-called "terrorist hunt" where one advances on different maps alone or with team against opponents. The problem: Most all enemies are alerted on the map as soon as the first shot is fired and the next 5 minutes, you're busy rushing-to eliminate opponents. Then the game is over and the map itself you have just seen the start point. So here again zero tactic possible.
The multiplayer has also not like me, because I'll probably stay closer to the Battlefield series.
Conclusion: certainly very nice, and the game for that sort players tactically may be very challenging for fans of simple "shooting game" even. Providing real tactical shooter looking for (in the police or Special Forces milieu) For people who rather not suitable.
