I did not regret it: Between the MK300 Desktop and the Wireless Desktop 3000 are not worlds but dimensions!
The entire package of Microsoft's just so much better than Logitech, here are a few examples:
-> Application: The keyboard of Microsoft's high-order multiples. Starting with the pleasant pressure point of the keys on the palmrest great way to mouse that acts precisely to a much. The MK300 keyboard is made entirely of plastic, the pressure points are spongy and it writes simply unpleasant. The processing at Logitech acts simply cheap due to the clattering keys.
-> Packaging and batteries: It is so banal but why Logitech uses AA and AAA batteries? Microsoft used very simple AA batteries for both the keyboard and the mouse. The packaging is so compact divided in Microsoft accurately in chambers that make re-packing simple and clean. At Logitech, it is simply a box with no divisions.
-> Transmitter & Coverage: For Logitech continues to 2m conclusion. At Microsoft there are loose 5m. The interesting thing is that the Logitech Desktop comes with a chunky, large wired transmission unit that is connected via USB. After installing both the keyboard and the mouse must be "posted" at the touch of a button unit before they work. If Microsoft is just a small "USB stick" which is plugged in and ready to operate both mouse and keyboard. No chunky unit that needs to be placed on the table, no complicated posting the hardware.
Unfortunately, I was once again disappointed by Logitech. I had ever Bluetooth Headset from Logitech, their handling and comfort simply were a disaster. Twice used since they are in the drawer. The same with a Logitech mouse that I bought once. Also a big disappointment and now even the keyboard. I think the company, brand and appearance of Logitech super. The products are generally processed very innovative but mostly bad. A real shame!
Thus my credo:
"Stay with Microsoft (Hardware), stay safe!"
