1. Sheezus: Very catchy title track, which remains mainly by its chorus with the many names of famous pop stars in the head. The mid-tempo track is already a good start, but not absolute highlight.
2. L8 CMMR: When he was released, I did not like this song, now it has, however, made clicking and "L8 CMMR" can really convince me with his crazy beat, cool text and excessive Autotune. Another real catchy tune.
3. Air Balloon: The second single of the plate is correct for Lily Allen to almost "to pop", but a really nice feel-good song that I liked from the start and with his sing-along melody that strong MIAs "Paper Planes" recalls, is determined up and down run in the summer on the radio.
4. Our Time: The first song that sounds from the style just like the songs on "It's Not Me, It's You", now follows. Maybe that is why I find "Our Time" just terrific. Especially the chorus and bridge it did to me.
5. insincerely Yours: An usual snappy text accompanied song 5, which unfortunately is one of the weak points of the plate for me. The piece I find a bit boring, but also "It's Not Me, It's You" was one, two pens, so I let her go through the song.
6. Take My Place: After a quiet verse with beautiful piano accompaniment, followed by a powerful chorus that makes the song to another highlight of the plate. Here comes the "INM, IY" on -feeling.
7. As Long As I Got You: Since "Not Fair" and "Never Gonna Happen" we know that Lily Allen dares to a country song sometimes, but so much like "As Long As I Got You" they do not even inspired by the genre. The song just makes you feel good and can be seen as a continuation of the former hits of the previous album.
8. Close Your Eyes: The R & B-number is not available in the second filler to the standard version. The song is not bad, but a little repetitive.
9. URL Badman: For now following a blast again. "URL Badman" has strong verses and an equally memorable chorus, which is supported by unique Dubstep elements. The song is just another typical Lily song, something about "Back To The Start", my favorite song of the previous album, reminds me.
10. Silver Spoon: I must have the texts really nothing to say, because even "Silver Spoon" will come to where the rest of the album began lyrically. The somewhat monotonous sung chorus has that certain something that is so even "Silver Spoon" has become a very good track, which has perhaps the strongest hip hop influences on the album.
11. Life For Me: Another nice pop song which indeed goes down a little, but blend in with the rest of the album. Reminds me a bit of "I Could Say".
12. Hard Out Here: The first single is expected thanks to the German radio and "I'm a Celebrity - Get Me Out of Here!" actually everyone know. Magnificent text (and video), the really nice taking the pop world times on the arm, coupled with one of the most memorable choruses of the year.
Deluxe version:
13 Wind In Your Neck: Very strong Bonus song that would definitely belongs to the standard version. Above all, the chorus and the production (as most of the songs from long-term producer Greg Kurstin) can like.
14. Who Do You Love: Ok, the song they could have saved. "Who Do You Love" is again quite R & B-heavy and even if I MTI its "Slow Jams" à la "Motivation" or "Body Party" very happy to hear the genre, I can not really abgewinnen much Lily's side trips. "Who Do You Love" is just plain boring and can be skipped.
15. Miserable Without Your Love: Another really good bonus song whose chorus has a really great melody and also stands out for its very simple production. Might have to replace "Close Your Eyes".
16. Holding On To Nothing: The song is rather in the soul-direction and reminds me of songs of Rebecca Ferguson. In itself, it is in the Fraser T Smith production (including "Set Fire To The Rain") is a good song, which is, however, manage to find only on the deluxe version.
17. Somewhere Only We Know: Lily's cover version of a Keane hits was in England for the big Christmas hit. I must admit that I do not know the original, but Lily's version, I find beautiful. Too bad she does not sing more ballads ...
"Sheezus" is not as strong as "It's Not Me, It's You", but that was actually to be expected. Despite everything, I think that Lily Allen is a great, varied album that has a few small weaknesses. However, I am so glad to be back to have new music from her that I have decided for 5 stars instead of 4 stars, in the hope that some songs are even better.
