Quality / processing:
The processing of the headphones is very good indeed. Even after one year use no shortage noticed. The base station acts of the processing is not quite as noble as the headphones themselves, for it is very robust and performs its function perfectly. Function / operation:
The connection is very simple. The provided optical cable to connect the output device (conditioning, television, Playstation, BlueRayPlayer) and already the Dolby or DTS sound is detected. Unfortunately, setting the voices strongly heard in the "Cinema" distorted. At 7.1 starting material but this is better.
Conclusion: The price / performance ratio is absolutely right. The Sony MDR6500 is a sophisticated product with good workmanship and true surround sound. However, the focus is primarily on ligt movies and games. Disturb only the low and not adjustable bass and sometimes tinny / distorted dialogues in Cinema mode. I give the headphones still a strong buy recommendation. In this price range you will find nothing like it. Who wants to spend more money should take the new 9.1 KH Sony into consideration.
