Plastic is light, even very light. The battery cover which is under the player does not hold if we remove the tape that is over when unpacking the product. The CD player, when with him, does not close completely on the left, opposite the location of the "push" support on which to close. It's really cheap! Care must be taken to clip the CD to the central attachment system CD player ... and there for a 4 year old, I doubt the soundness of the system. In short, look side and his side is not bad, but side assembly and strength, it is very light. I hope that the warranty is 2 years ... but I doubt it!
