However the psychological portrait of Charlene since childhood as the author the brush seems very wobbly and very credible from a psychiatric point of view. Several concepts are mixed without real foundation (intellectual precocity, a terrible child, tomboy, joyful and full of life, which becomes hyper shy teenager, tortured and complexed ??). This is not credible.
Still, writing is dense and pleasant, even if the style sometimes seems a bit too artificial and therefore supported.
Note that the film Mélanie Laurent inspired by the book, is only half true portraits of characters, the family environment and action.
