For me this is the best shot of the Messiah, as the soloists are wonderful and the pace of the orchestra is appropriate. For this purpose a great choir. I hear this recording for many years, unfortunately, the CD now has some scratches and that's why I was looking for exactly the same recording and am now very happy to have found it. But of course the different recordings are a matter of taste. In any case I've found mine.
