This book is well known to historians, it has no historical value, unfortunately only a few therapeutic dimension to Muslims in need of civilizational glory (and believe the number of positive reviews on the internet, there are many). THERE has also many other books on the subject (including Dimitri Gutas, Alain de Libera, S. Guggenheim, R. Brague, etc ...) that will bring to the honest man what to think. Note that for an understanding a little surge of commitments "far-right pro-Arab" this historian barefoot, there is a link to a page published in English by the University of Tübingen, very interesting.
