The crochet hooks are made of stained plywood and are, by a tapered midsection, wonderful in the hand (do not rotate). After sample crochet at an unfinished scarf with rose flowers and other patterns, I can also assure you that the size of the hook is working exactly.
From value for money I can only say - wonderful! An aluminum needle would not be cheaper.
