Peter Pangerl, alias Chakuza, delivers with Magnolia a lyrical - and at the same time musical masterpiece from. Anyone have Chakuza from "City Cobra" - knows times will hardly recognize him. This man, when an angle would have 500 degrees, completed a 500 degree turn - musically, lyrically and atmospheric technically. "Magnolia" is not, as we know it from the hip-hop genre emerged in passing. Here was not along the lines of: "Pick NEN Beat, write NEN text and bring it out," worked. The album has a inhaltlich- and musical thread.
Chakuza looks back on his life. So far, nothing new, but what stands out is the incredible honesty that he puts on the day in his lyrics. The album thus resembles a large diary and reads from his Chakuza important events. He glossed over nothing, but tells what has happened incredibly honest and moving. The lyrical range from his early childhood on his grandparents' farm, until the "emergency landing at Berlin", his current home and leaves nothing out. From the death of his mother, about alcohol problems, false friends and lost love up to the present time, the better time. These issues are connected with an incredibly beautiful music, have conjured the Janetschko Andreas, alias "DJ Stickle" and Steffen "Steddy" Wilmking with her team. Currently there is nothing comparable on the market that would remotely come close to this ingenious compositions.
Anyone who thinks Chakuza would lose in melancholy, is mistaken. In every song, no matter how touching, always put a spark of hope, because now is again "All good."
