Have a Mac Mini 2010. The installation was much more difficult than my Macbook Pro 2012 (but is on the Mini). The caddy does not fit 100% into it. The attachments to the Caddy to screw him into the Macbook must be sanded. But craft scissors and arrows rich in the thin sheet. In addition, you only get (I at least) 3 of 4 screws from the Platikrahmen, which holds the caddy in the Mini, screwed. Therefore 1 star deduction. Otherwise, he is solid and reliable. Now have the fourth of this variety and installed so far is still not failed.
So much fun with screws and joy of additional storage)
