N: volume is OK for someone who operates alone in a room with this monitor; something more audio performance is desirable;
N: HDMI Settings are very difficult and not described in detail in the manual. Text and blur edges problem: -> this problem have loudly Internet forums also other manufacturers when using the HDMI interface!
N: are located on the included CD Manuals and driver files. Information on the contents of the CD with their actual content does not match: The "Software" folder does not exist! For detailed information on whether and how the calibrated color values are also installed can not be found.
N: arrangement of the keys 1 + 2 for the operation of the monitor menus are a bit strange.
DVI
Image quality is much better and less complicated than DVI via HDMI;
HDMI
When connected via HDMI had in the monitor menu "overscan" must be selected. Also have "overscan value" to be readjusted in order to fill the entire screen of the settings of the Graffikkarte. Text characters were nonetheless be blurred. The use of the "Clear Type" feature of Windows improved the text representation only marginally. According to Internet forums, there are also many other manufacturers, the same problems imaging connections via HDMI.
ERGO: use DVI and separate audio cable.
Summary:
Personally am very happy with my new monitor. Sharpness, brightness and color - insbesonder "White" and "Black" are "madness".
The use of the monitor via HDMI was unfortunately not effective and unsatisfactory. For the beginner I can put only the most direct route through the use of the DVI interface + audio cable to my heart.
An "Auto-Adjust" mode of the monitor when using the HDMI interface as well as a more detailed description - keyword "overscan" - is not only desirable but absolutely necessary to turn the monitor to operate satisfactorily through this interface.
