It is the second novel by Romain Sardou I read it and really surprising. His novel is very addictive. The mystery surrounding a village "forgot" the rest of the kingdom, in a remote area in France is complicated and Machiavellian. The author keeps us in suspense until the end and what I particularly appreciate about him is that all the mysteries that surround this or that fact in its history is explained at the end. We do not go hungry as with some books it seems that not everything has been said. The course of history or one follows several characters at once is, at the same time, exciting and confusing because one perceives little by little all the characters, each in their own way, by completely different routes, will send a terrible truth. I love it.
