This book is a must for any fan of Magma as it relates through the chronological discography all elements making the band's history. Each album is presented, the musicians are displayed and the subject is told. The author describes his own impressions in relative objectivity, relying on some satisfecit we forgive (a little more modesty in his expertise would have been nice view). It also echoes the press then (Best Rock & Folk), which gives many arguments to understand the uniqueness of this group. We regret the absence of the main witness, Christian Vander who seems not to have validated this book (as it is an official biography).
