My tip: The film is rolled delivered, therefore the use for cutting and spraying is not as easy. But because they super adheres to damp surface, I have my work table previously partially moistened.
Then they lay flat and could be processed well. Absolutely front applied to the adhesive side wet spray (water / surfactant mixture) I just used a few drops of washing up liquid, also went;)
Deduct the support film is virtually impossible without assistance, most likely klappts with the tape method is also explained in a video. For this purpose, at one corner of the film, on front and back,
a piece of tape (eg. strong tixo) glued,
quasi to enlarge their exposure to Auseinaderziehen. So go super easy.
For film itself:
Yes, she is thin, I have now but also do not have to treat with kid gloves, and she is not torn. Once she is glued to me, they have also again able to pull them apart.
You still leaves a lot of light through, similar to that of the Abdunkelungswirkung a dark flyscreen.
By doctoring quasi small scratches caused on the film, which can not well avoid ?. So when the sun shines on it, you can see the wiper halt ...
On the sides of the foil stuck sometimes not so good, but they will mask off only in an emergency with silicone, am now too lazy;)
Can indeed times to report whether it considers and especially what she brings temperature technically)
Oh: What I have unfortunately overlooked when buying on amazon that there is still a bit more expensive film, with better transmission values ... But the wirds do well too!

EDIT after one year:
Well, this summer was extremely hot with us, I have noticed a slight (felt) improvement through the film. So I am quite convinced ultimately not have been. Then in the fall I wanted to remove the film on all windows, and then came the great drama: the film can not be removed in one piece again but only in Fetzen- particularly annoying is the glue that sits extremely firmly on the window pane. I have tried everything possible to remove it (label adhesive remover, paint thinners and even Speißeöl) What helped all nix. In the end I got it best with nail polish remover and a Drahtwaschel (sry, as they say in east) down. And the high power use and constant fear, I could scratch the window or with the remover to wooden frame paint damage (ATTENTION !!) I finally got so 2 windows 1.5 hours freed from adhesive. The other windows still have the films on it;) After I now know I'll own up stick any more films, and wants to warn everyone that the removal takes considerably more time than the application.
