His new album is a perfect summer album with many uptempo numbers, especially "Get in My Way" and "Is not no Does 4 that" are extremely good, soaked in the disco era dancefloor filler! Equally strong is "Feel Good", the song name can actually nothing else to. About the title track "Blurred Lines" we really need to stop talking, because he has chosen with Pharrell and TI the right music to ignite fireworks. "Give it 2 You" and "Take it Easy on me" are songs with a contemporary soundscape, without overdriving but and to give rise to Euro-Proll-dance-pop feel, of course it is clear that he already for pop starlet at the controls sat. Toward the end, actually 3 chilling numbers, but the shackles and just clarify that Thicke has absorbed a lot of soul in his previous life. "The Good Life" goes towards Marvin Gaye - "Hate Me Now" for this comparison, but he is very "country", somehow provides a carefree country life feeling velvet rocking chair on the porch. And that Thicke on "Top of the World" is with what he does just clarifies this song, in which he finds a mix of rap / singing.
Conclusion: For me his best album. Very varied, very sensitively and with a grandiose production. For me there is absolutely no wonder that he is of "white" and "black" (dark-skinned) celebrated equally, because he is not afraid absolutely to break barriers and just let his emotions run wild. The only thing that surprises me is the fact that "Blurred Lines" published in Germany two weeks before the release in the States!
Cheers, I'm making now a cold beer on - after that I celebrate that thing on!
