Malfunction 3 2

I bought this product to plug in my headset on my PC.
When everything is connected: the helmet functions properly, but the microphone does not work a priori. I tested thoroughly by putting the microphone volume and mic amp is so feeble means and with an echo. I think the microphone plug is not wired correctly as u son or welding touch.
I highly recommend and I just lost some money!

After further research: there are 2 types 3.4mm jack sockets with microphone:
the OMTP standard for old type phones Nokia / Sony / Wiko ...
CTIA standard apple become the standard and used everywhere now.
The difference is that the MIC and GND sheets are reversed.

It seems that this adapter is the old standard OMTP and therefore only work with old hands free kit / Headsets. It remains to be seen but appears likely.
There are WCPT / CTIA adapters if you're in my case and the adapter does not work:
