The disc was released in spring 1983 and measures good 40 minutes. The time then was wonderful, I was 13 and there were tons of good honest music - see also the albums "Crises" by Mike Oldfield, "Lets Dance" by David Bowie, "Synchronicity" by The Police, "Genesis" of Genesis, "Undercover" by the Rolling Stones, "True" by Spandau Ballet, "90125" by Yes, "Too Low For Zero" by Elton John ... and certainly some more ... a great vintage!
(All in typical 4-minute length) immediately go Bärenstarke grater tube of Roddy, homogeneous band, adequate production, cool cover, not a single filler is less than 10 tracks, a good mix of Outgoing songs and ballads, tunes: For this work ear (and stay there, now almost 31 years). I call it earthy rock but you have to say that there is also a certain synth percussion. 80s halt.
The essential organs had panned his time the LP but it was a veritable success with today vertickter nearly 10 million things. Even in West Germany highly gecharted. Mr.Stewart has subsequently made no so good album more in my opinion.
In the summer of 14 he comes (then 69 years) to small tour in Germany. But I suspect that he just plays to no songs from "Body Wishes", which tells me the look into various setlists of Scots in recent years / decades.
But with this disc you do as a rock and 80s fan (possibly also as a pop fan) truly nothing wrong.
