Since I was disappointed with his third novel (Seven days for an eternity), I kept a priori negative, saying: Marc Levy, it is always the same recipe: a love story, a little supernatural to raise the romantic dream in the cottages, easy and fast writing, for easy and fast reading. And from the first pages the next time, I was not far from thinking that just, next time there would be for me. It lacked a bit of surprise that! I found a bit confused these pages that put the plot in place, these stories of past lives which nobody wants to believe, then, is it the fault of the sun that warmed my chair and my reading in the garden, or the magic which this time has made (a little late, 2nd half of the novel), but I got carried away by this complicated love story in the field of art. Of course it remains annoying clichés, of course we must accept to believe in it (and if it were true?), But I am forced to acknowledge that this book surprised me much more than I expected. A more documented novel, over worked, with more searched characters, more twists in short, a writer who has found his pen 1st and 2nd opus.
