Narrowly escaped from the ISIDOR Search Mark Brandis and his team after the spacecraft Epsilon. In the hands of the Republic, it would be an incalculable risk. In fact, the Department of Hermes is attacked by the Republicans and imprisoned. A momentous meeting should then change everything ...
Yet not too long on the radio play market, and already applies "Mark Brandis" as one of the best science fiction series. Not without reason, because the previous episodes convinced by their very special effect. The same goes for the tenth episode, the second part of "spacecraft Epsilon", the seriousness and tension radiates. The story of the first part will be seamlessly continued, but partly directed into other channels, providing some potential for surprise. Nice that is not the complete story is predictable here. In particular, the captivity of the Department is well represented: The threats that should move to co-operate, the behavior of crude statutes and of course particularly the liberation bring life into the plot, this main part of the story provides tidy voltage. Then it's on quite fast-paced, the peak of the episode moves appreciably closer. The end I finally did not expect so that Krativität the author seems far from exhausted. A wonderful continuation of the first part, in the composition is again a dynamic and exciting story arc developed, which is suitable for both fans and newcomers.
As always the speaker selection is an outstanding success here. Above all, of course, shines again Michael Lott as Commander Mark Brandis with its solid and expressive voice. Stefan Gossler is Colonel Lao Wu and can draw an accurate picture of the strength of character. Udo Schenk is heard as Captain Roger D'Arcy and may even convince with his distinctive voice. Other speakers include Anke Reitz Stone, Oliver Seidler and Erich Räuker.
Impressively the acoustic accompaniment of the story has succeeded here as well. The music may be put to the proper times to the fore and spread an impressive effect on the listener. In terms of atmosphere but especially the sound effects are supporting, up to large-scale battles have many facets of soft sounds.
Although the cover compared to the previous result falls slightly and is not quite as flashy, impressive presentation of the huge spaceship with the little cruiser is all. Interesting information on the inner part rounded off the positive impression of the design.
Conclusion: captivity and further search for spacecraft Epsilon continues to be very exciting and dynamic. A great two-parter!
