It is the last album of Tangerine Dream before the Virgin era, before the mythical Phaedra, Rubicon and Ricochet. Atem is the 4th installment of the group that finds its full development with training that will become the most respected and most admired (Edgar Froese, Peter Baumann and Chris Franke). This album finds the perfect balance between experimentation austere beginnings (Zeit, 1972) and the character hovering Phaedra (1984). For me, it is probably my favorite record high of Tangerine Dream, I even prefer to Phaedra (which I have never tasted too face 2, much less inspired than the A side). Atem deploys an incredibly fascinating sound world, inexhaustibly rich (especially the title "Circulation of events" of the atmosphere of high aerobatics).
