The presenter appeared here in its price range very good cut - prized big all other similarly had either two or Buttens appeared in the pictures very clunky (Remote Control Format). The red laser is not ideal, but okay.
After unpacking my first disappointment was then exactly the Size: From the pictures produced, I had a diameter expected as a (possibly slightly thicker) Kuli, in reality it is rather the format of Eddings. The weight, in turn, is very low, which suggests that the size is mainly due to plastic and air. Clearly visible is provided on the USB receiver for the place in the Presenter - the receiver is * much * larger than necessary, making it also the presenter significantly larger than necessary. I find the minimum required functions should be able to accommodate in less space.
For the size of the Presenter is MMN also clearly too light to good to be in the hands. because you would rather air to add a bit of weight, especially in the receiver located at the end - that would have improved the feel significantly.
The Stealth also not conducive to the incredibly loud click. Too bad the buttons on the screen actually looked elegant, but at the volume the audience with every click is once clearly indicated on the presenter.
About the technology: When plugging the Presenter (as probably the most) Presenter reports as XinXin Wireless with the operating system and provides a HID keyboard and mouse (why the latter is beyond me I guess the electronics is generic and is also in presenters with. mouse function installed). Pressing up (arrow towards laser) sends a prior-keystroke, pressing down a next-button - which should be compatible with most of the presentations and PDF software. The third button (Fn) now is not as hoped an additional button that you can then remapping the operating system, but to change the mode. By pushing it once then sends a high b-keystroke, and down alternately F5 then shift combo and a Esc keystroke. The former is likely to produce a black screen in the most presentation software, the latter alternating presentations Start (F5) and exit (Esc). Another press of Fn returns to the forward / backward mode.
I think it's technically very poorly implemented. There is (as already mentioned in other reviews) no feedback about the mode, just as on the question of whether last F5 or Esc has been sent. So you have to effectively guess what happens next when you press a button. The starten- / stop function I stop at a Presenter as this absolutely senseless - whenever you need to start or stop the presentation mode, you have to always be on the computer, because the device does not allow for more interaction with the PC here. So I'll be in the room, close to my computer, start the presentation software, put myself forward in there and get only * then * in the presentation mode? I think is very questionable.
The two modes with Shift to make the additional functions also difficult to access - if I briefly etc. my presentation for a discussion interrupt and it would turn the screen black, I need two keystrokes - to carry on also. Combined with the aforementioned volume knob pressure and the lack of feedback on the active mode (and the threat to end his presentation by mistake) I find that totally unacceptable. The product would have been really good if the manufacturer had not tried here hineinzuquetschen many functions as possible, no matter how unnecessary they are content, and instead the Fn button would simply covered with a b - if anyone really wants a function other than black, can he indeed with him on the computer remapping the another button.
Total unfortunately quite a disappointment. I find my claims above not formulated very high. 16 is for the required functions is not a high price, in Ggtl., And I would have at least expected that the implementation is then good, not poor like here.
