To hear: hard electro beats and pounding bass and soft, vocal sounds. Even the title song "Nightlife" by Chris Corner aka IAMX, can feel a pulsating life and death of Berlin. But the other Club Pearls of Soulwax (Nite with a version of the song "Miserable Girl"), Warren Suicide ("Land Of The Free"), VAST ("Pretty When You Cry") and especially with MOONBOTICA ANTHONY MILLS, the their track "In Our Eyes" specially produced for the film, pulling the listener into were spell. For the sometimes creepy atmosphere, the quirky and iconic underground Act Klaus Nomi ("Cold Song") provides. The soft and quiet tones suggest Scala & Kolacny Brothers on their song "self-fulfilling prophecy". Further support comes from the two winners of the big sound contest DJ VALERO ("Deep in the Night") and the Swedish EBM band Covenant ("We Are the Night"). CONCLUSION: melancholy songs between electro and pop. Varied and dramatic, this soundtrack is not only a must for all moviegoers but also a musical treat for all sleepwalkers !!!
