Memoirs of a Geisha (Paperback)

Customer Review

Very informative, interesting, but a little "draft" ... The book is poorly structured, I think you get lost a bit between History and history, lived Kino.
If Geisha does not mean prostitute, while in thinking? She has a very hard life in early childhood, in a market often funny between the father and the mistress of the house of Geishas who "adopts" the granddaughter of strange and legally. These homes are located in a pleasure district, once become geisha at the age of 15, she is called a house to another not only to play music, serve tea (tea ceremony) but to sell her body .... It often has a "protector", it must pay a large debt to his "adoptive mother" ... which actually uses directly from the person who is "used" by geisha .... She also happens to prostitution, in secret, to pay for her dresses etc ... She does not know anything against making at household level, and is found in bine hardly she fled with love ...
This book is of great modesty, it is not fictionalized, it appears genuine.
