I have this device now for about 3 months. If you want something crush it, you have it previously only cut really small, then it works. Under high load, eg when crushing hard carrots it is, however, fast hot and begins to smell. This smell is most intense when unscrewing the lower part. It probably comes from the engine or from the "Kuplung" which is made of plastic. So far not a problem, but this smell also proceeds in the Mixtrat. I've always thought of this "off-taste" came from the fruit, if I would have made me a smoothie, but now he was stronger. I then got my smoothie discarded and 5 times mixed hot water min. The smell and taste of this water was disgusting. At the bottom of the blender jar rallied after pouring metal residues, which I've probably eaten before mitgetrunken and confidently! * Puke *
He does still functioning, so Stiftung Warentest "good", but I rate him with the final mark "insufficient" because health !!!
I can only advise against any of this waste equipment. Even if he would not grind so he would also not recommended because it is not effective in crushing and thus as a mixer is no good!
