Microsoft is under pressure - OpenOffice runs off his rank!

The existing product assortments were insufficient for me.

Finally I get the most important programs in one package. Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Outlook might still have been nice, especially since it was so far also always there, but it's fully replaceable.

Mircrosoft Office 2007 comes with a new user interface, therefore, largely contrasts with the previous operating concept of the predecessor. At first I was skeptical because I am a friend of simple windows with menus and toolbars. Nevertheless me the new surface has now captivated. Automatic preview of text effects (eg font) in the text itself, I find great. Finally it is also possible to create PDF files that are required for the world of work and in sharing with friends / acquaintances. The options for this are poor compared to free PDF tools such as PDFCreator, but Microsoft wants to Adobe the field is not to dispute.

Whether the new file format in XML format is better to be seen. So far I have always hated that a Word file grew larger after multiple memories, although no contents have been added.

Conclusion: Those who have private or business often do with Microsoft files and full compatibility required, the this product is recommended in any case. Any other I advise to free alternative: OpenOffice.
