In an interview in the lovely jazz documentation of Ken Burnes (Jazz -. A Film By Ken Burns Vol 1-4 (4er DVD slipcase) [Special Edition]) the jazz saxophonist Brandford Marsalis describes (ok, he does occasionally Classic ) that he has heard constantly as a teenager "A Love Supreme" and always, for all occasions: after getting up, eating breakfast, during the day, in the evening.

The first I could not understand at all, because I have first done me a hard time with this disc. After repeated listening though the music Coltrane's got an almost mystical attraction, which I could not escape me and I had felt so at anyone yet another album.

John Coltrane, it is with "A Love Supreme" managed in a special way, the fascination to capture the magic and the universality of music in a unique way and to force in a remarkable album.

For me, definitely one of the albums that I would take to a deserted island.
