First, I had major problems to adjust the focus. That I managed with some effort halfway, but it did not convince me. From stars I just got no convincing picture. Annoying I found also that the wheel is very stiff to adjust the sharpness to make the image verwacktelt despite tripod, which does not make the matter of focusing.
Is still angry that the eyes aperture of rigid rubber are, so they ultimately bring hardly anything and are rather disturbing, because they are larger than the eye sockets. So you can not get close as you want and can also hardly slightly lean.
Then I had another problem, everything was a bit milky, what I initially attributed the hazy weather. But because it was not :-( There were just slightly milky glasses. Did it then with my little Minox (MD 7x42 C with an analogue compass monocular white) compared. There is a difference like night and day between the two lenses, or as between Mercedes and Fiat.
Then I finally compared it with my antique brass decorative binoculars that I once bought for 35 euros somewhere (the looking at something here: Binoculars Telescope brass with wooden tripod 150CM antique style, as I had originally not even the claim that one at all something may increase, as it was meant pure decoration object.) However, it has a decent look and a sharpness regulator. Lo and behold, magnification is identical, sharpness is better and easy to adjust. Both are the same milky.
It may of course be that I caught a Monday device, but then I decided for me to exchange it. I plan to buy a bigger glass of Minox.
