I bought this cable to connect my phone samsung galaxy note 2 to my TV. Except that the cable does not fit into the same phone, this is not the same standard.
Indeed, the only compatible cable seems to be the official wire samsung. It must be 5-pin, and that it pass the data (some serve only power cable). Product lying so not to buy if you have a note 2.
