Dark melodies, fascinating performed with beguiling voices and to the concise drum and bass play, immediately produce a gray dense atmosphere which forces us to listen. Overall quite restrained and minimal production (Flood) are available at the appropriate places accented electronic beats and spherical keyboards. Music from the dim misty, gray days. Sometimes lively, sometimes even triphoppig, sometimes subdued as fog, never loud and noisy. Very nice urbanization / development of "Warpaint Sounds" I think.
Although the band as in interviews told it themselves not so feels and the second album we all know, is to be the most difficult applies here: An album as a unified whole. Including great cover.
8/10 with air up there for me.
