I must say that it's super difficult to find a mixer in this price range of just "fits".
Either lacks the processing (see Philips, but also others) or lack of power.
With this device, I thought: WMF (ie for me quality is right) + 1200W (Power true). This then justifies almost even double the price for Philips - theoretically.
VOLUME
That was probably the first thing I noticed. To mix at lower levels, one can endure the level. The program "Smoothie", which alternates between two speed levels, but it will get for me personally too loud.
The basic volume if it were not even that bad, but it is still a pretty flash, penetrating tone of simply seems too much for my ears. If one makes nen 2x daily smoothie and is immediately adjacent to the device, I can not guarantee that this has over time, no negative consequences for the hearing. For this reason I leave the kitchen is completed by the program. (Update: An app to measure decibels shows me the value of 93 on at the higher level of Smoothiefunktion.)
I can not understand how one can be so go through a volume. Clear 1200W, which you can hear but to me also belongs to the "applicability" of a product such as the volume of points.
Therefore, there is of me a star deduction.
The jug is heavy, it is also clear glass. However, not as hard as the Philips HR2096 / 00th
CLEANING
Here are two caveats why I give another star deduction:
- As the blade unit sits on a cone to further protrude slightly in the glass jar, thus forms a slightly lower "edge" where the glass jar sitting on the foot of the cone. This "edge" to like to collect residues, depending on what you mix.
For me this is the case when I premixes oatmeal first and later added giving the rest of the ingredients. After the mixing process, it often happens that even then are residues of oatmeal in this edge, you rausbekommt also difficult with rinsing with water. I have to a shashlik skewer taken on hand to ringsrum, the remains rauszukratzen before I then also can not wash away this.
- From time to time there is a thorough wash to where the blade unit is separated from the glass jug. (In some previous speakers, I read that they had problems when unscrewing the blade unit from the jar. This I can not confirm.)
Personally, I find it a bit awkward when assembling position the separate rubber again properly. It works, but you could have the better solve (the Philips on the rubber cone was incorporated and had not so loose rubber).
MIXLEISTUNG
In the performance I can not complain so far - Had me wondering at 1200W.
Are you a consistency, which it mixes more difficult it may happen that after Smoothiefunktion still a few pieces in "Shake" were. Then you have to stop running the program again.
Heavy mixende consistency was with me: oatmeal, low-fat quark, whey, 1 frozen banana 4 ice cubes, peanut butter & water.
Here are some frozen, small, round pieces of bananas remained in Shake.
But after the mixture is quite thick, I can understand that it is difficult to get the frozen pieces correctly.
Smoothies, Shakes Weight Gain etc Since I do every day, I'll probably eventually also invest some money and buy a Vitamix OAE. In 100 price segment, there appears, unfortunately, no, ALL of mixes reliably to a great consistency.
Honestly, I wanted to give 4 stars after me but the defects under letter of review were more aware, unfortunately there are only. 3
Who can come to terms with the volume (all vll is only my so loud - just maybe ...) and cleaning with small drawbacks is satisfied, this device would nevertheless worth considering.
