12dBi sounds only times well, "enormous" increase performance "is probably a bit exaggerated. The availability of WLANs in the garden (before that I had a weak connection with approximately -79dB) increased by 1-2 dB to -77 / -78dB . Theoretically, I would have expected with 8dB 4dB here against my Stnadard antennas, which can significantly affect precisely in this low reception area.
Yes, it is slightly better - NO, the value for money is not good. For the price of the two antennas I would have to rather buy a cheap repeater which ensures CLEARLY would have brought more amplification.
