Secondly, the relationship between Monkey and Trip is a very special. At the beginning of the game takes TripAdvisor Monkey were "caught" by investing him a headband which allows you to control it. Only together can survive the two. A big compliment here to the character designer. While Monkey first acts like a primitive muscleman and fearful peeping trip especially from washing, will gradually realize that Monkey under the rough exterior has a quite big heart and above all a good dose of humor. TripAdvisor contrast, appears delicate and fragile, but repeatedly demonstrates courage and toughness - and their technical skills are outstanding. The conversations between the two, the Mine game, the looks they throw themselves ... class. Here a few other games can cut a big slice - all too rarely have I as a player the feeling that they are dealing with real people with whom one sympathizes, suffers with, and would be if they then do it yet.
On gameplay I have not much to complain. While running the whole relatively linearly, usually sends a trip first "reconnaissance drone" going on, highlighted key points, showing more or less the way on how the level has to be solved. Then you walk with Monkey going, climbing over rusty pipes, switches Mechs from (see the fighting from very cool, especially the "finishing moves" when the last enemy was defeated). Since it is actually always outnumbered, you have to plan the battles quite tactically, because all too soon breathed Monkey his life from when three or more mechs bashing on him or even want to even call for reinforcements. Fortunately you can with collected red "Orbs" the Battle Staff, the shield, the life bar etc. level up, and that is also necessary in any case. In any case, the positive side is the teamwork, so you can trip eg instruct them to activate a kind of holo-distraction, so that the focus on 'Mechs and without prejudice Monkey can run to the next important point. Likewise Monkey can draw opponents to be, in turn can run trip safely to the next meeting. Moreover, sometimes managers need to be lowered for the partner, Monkey takes trip on his back and carries them or throws them over precipices or on projections. At certain points Monkey experiencing "flashbacks" and sees the former residents of New York in her previous life. Let's see what it is good :-)
Overall, I am heavily inspired by Enslaved - Odyssey to the West and I am curious how it goes.
Addendum: Meanwhile I am (unfortunately) by the game and would like to assign another 10 stars if I could. Especially after you leave New York and with Pigsy (the Monkey fairly to the pointer goes :-)) Another character temporarily Moreover, Enslaved takes again right on driving. Actually I wanted to leave me pretty much time, but the game just would not let go of me ... in a scene later in the game even my eyes were moist. After New York come another great areas such as trips home village, a Mech Factory, a landscape of huge windmill or a toxic swamp. Everything worn beautiful, harmonious and graphically beautifully staged. The spectacular final battle is truly epic to name - and here Pigsy plays an important role. After that comes a hammer moderate epilogue ... but I do not want to reveal too much.
Update 2: I've done it again and Enslaved by gambled on "Hard". The entire Sunday I've gambled. And loved every minute of it again ... And I still could not find all the masks and Orbs, probably still stands at a third passage :-)
Terrific game! I'm still completely fascinated and want to Monkeys and Trips world not even leave really ... Hopefully Enslaved is a really great success - I want a successor :-)
