Now it's finally here - the long-awaited solo album by Gwen Stefani! Those who expect rock pieces in known No Doubt tradition, is bitterly disappointed. Gwen has been announced in many interviews that she privately very happy 80th he hears music and a fan of Madonna's - and just as the album sounds. After Salt'n'Pepa meets Madonna meets Blondie meets Neptunes meets Outkast. 1. What you waiting for - good first single. Represents the album, but is definitely not the best song on LAMB (5/5) 2. Rich Girl - there was still stolen. People who know about the area in Riddim / Reggae (eg as Sean Paul) know what I'm talking about. Still a cool song for wild party Äche and most likely the second single ... (5/5) 3. Hollaback Girl - produced by the Neptunes, who beats a big bang, and even if the song on the first run more like a "filler" sounds, makes Gwen's great song for a climax. This is one of those songs that something goes down faster in the many songs, but when when you Hollaback Girl is also a chance you can from right "groove". (Right, grooving, because it sounds groovy). :) (5/5) 4. Cool - the probably most reminiscent of No Doubt song. Sounds a bit like "Running" of Rocksteady. Very nice in the melody, one of the slower pieces, and one of the very few where some guitar sounds. (3/5) 5. Bubble Pop Electric - WOW! Absolutely worn and underground sounds Bubble Pop Electric - Outkast's Andre 3000 produced. My highlight of the album. The drums beats uncontrollably, the chorus is fast and exciting. No single material but a gem of the album! (5/5) 6. Luxurious - Ok here we have the R'n'B song. Here's a sample is also used. The song itself languishes something there, but that would probably every song after the absolute energetic Bubble Pop Electric. Very nice. (3.5 / 5) 7. Harajuku Girls - What's that? Somehow the song sounds as if it had not a proper concept and was spontaneously written in 10 minutes. :) Nevertheless, quite funny and refreshing after more thoughtful Luxurious and therefore (3.5 / 5) 8. Crash - AWESOME! Very reminiscent of Madonna anno 1983 absolutely danceable with the best chorus of the album, probably one of the best songs ever and one of my favorites! Here Gwen really gets going and creates the curve by the not quite so intoxicating titles 6 and 7! (5/5) 9. The Real Thing - a dance song, but more reminiscent of the trance pieces of the late '90s. Something uninspiert and average compared to the rest, yet danceable and Gwen's singing is soulful and fits perfectly with the atmosphere. (4/5) 10. Serious - hurray! The strings at the beginning herald another 80's song, which again is very reminiscent of Madonna (although Gwen here more like Kylie Minogue sounds). Not quite as fast as "crash", but all about retro. Another favorite on my part. (5/5) 11 Danger Zone - here again a fast dance song, and again 80's oriented and again a memorable catchy chorus. Single potential candidate (the Ami's had not been so stubborn with her Hip Hop) (5/5) 12. Long Way To Go - the second Holographic Andre 3000 title. Is as difficult to describe as Bubble Pop Electric. Sounds very much like Outkast, impulsive and unpredictable in the verses to Long Way To Go developed fast, very hot chorus to another (and unfortunately last) peak. (5/5) Finally, I would advise everyone to purchase who are not stuck to a genre, like listening to dance music and also with the 80's revival has no problem! A Super debut of Gwen, so full marks!
