My experience has been very positive. It has a compact design and therefore does not remove a lot of space. One can at the size and the price, of course do not expect the sound of a Bose system. For the size of the sound, however, is quite good. In addition, the alarm roars not - like many other models in the price range.
The iPhone works without any problems with the appliance. There appear not always notice messages on the screen, as with many other products that are allegedly compatible with the iPhone.
An additional playlist on iPhone named PHILIPS ensures that you will always wake up to the music you want to hear.
Setting the maximum volume for the alarm music works fine. Due to the weekday drawee clock setting you have to make any more thoughts on the weekend off the alarm.
Radio reception is also OK. For me at least three or four radio stations are reproduced without noise or static.
The brightness of the display is a matter of taste. Who sleeps in a completely darkened room, could feel the brightness to be annoying. But if anyway a little light is always present, the display will not interfere. In addition, you can completely turn off the display also. The alarm clock works then anyway.
I noticed only a small problem. The alarm clock is pretty easy to slip and thus quickly on a smooth surface (If you press, for example on the screen of the iPhone). I just stuck my little slip stopper on the bottom and thus this problem was solved.
A Fernbedieung I do not miss at the device because it is right next to the bed and thus the Fernbedieung would be superfluous.
In summary I can recommend all the Philips clock radio, looking for a radio alarm clock. Anyone looking for a stereo for the bedroom, will probably not be happy here.
