After almost a decade, and at least 10 result albums Bibb engages in its current best of "all 50 tracks on which were recorded in the years 2003 until today. In the meantime the much younger-looking man, the 60 left behind, the long trips and the annual new albums to continuously high levels continue to be very positive constants.
It is beyond the scope of this brief meeting, when we talk about the songs or albums, from which they originate en detail. Listeners who Bibb already seen at concerts, see the evergreens of his stage show (& Saucer Cup, Connected, Shingle Shingle by, Needed Time)
The wide choice of title serves both the Roots Group "(Booker's Guitar, Deeper in the well) as well as the successful trip towards world music" (Brothers in Bamako). The compilation is in my opinion perfect as an introduction for listeners who do not know Eric Bibb.
The terrain of this exceptional musician is the stage, so I like the fact especially that some pieces of the excellent disc Live at the FIP "find their way.
Full Best Buy or recommendation. More than 3 hours very good music for around 20, one can certainly speak of a very good price / performance ratio.
