MotorStorm was yesterday ...

If I had Gran Turismo 5 Prologue and MotorStorm not played, I could not call my title so, but here I have no doubts on a possible falsehood!
Previously - and until recently - I have not really seen ATVs as release agents or competing against cars etc., but the very low price from England shouted for auditions.
The first impression, as the Blu-Ray is inserted and at first only a still image is displayed, the game was already the hammer (Toshiba FULL-HD 42 "). Finally started and at first also amazed what everything behind Blu-ray and FULL can put -HD Well, the game begins, by your you are assembling your own ATV and first begins with the training The training is mandatory and must be completed before the actual game starts -.. in my opinion, the better, because only exercise makes perfect and so far no one has fallen from the sky;.)
The training offers just about everything later relevant for a win: perform tricks or reach the maximum height in jumps for example.
So the training once past also starts the real game with world mode, Freestyle or time trial. In World Mode, there is - expressed praise - a lot of different routes which differ in their circumstances and the level of difficulty. These routes are occupied by different modes, such as normal race, freestyle or Sprint. The normal race takes place just like a normal race: One drives as best you can, fills its Boost bottle by tricks overtaken thus his opponents easily and heal comes to the finish. Not quite differently runs the freestyle race, but where it depends on intuition and a bit of skill. The race takes place on a single tank bar, with your drive on the runway and have to collect the same by tricking points. Various icons that are in the air, you help to "freeze" the tank bar to double your upcoming points or to improve your "rank" - because, depending on the successfully executed tricks other buttons (X> O> Triangle > R1 + L1) is available, bringing the most even more points if you heal on your ATV sits at the end of the execution, because if the tricks go in the pants, lose your Boost and fall of your rank by one unit down.
But over time the race I do not have much to say: it is a mixture of "normal" - and "freestyle" race, but where's the main thing, to win the best time result.

But now to the graphics, the sound and control.
The graphics are - briefly mentioned above - also the first impression of a real eye-catcher. The colors shine very strong and beautiful, which can look really great, the environment and is also worth to pay attention to and once more on the environment than on the racetrack. Disney is so known for attention to detail, even when it comes to their films. Realism is not a topic of conversation here: Everyone knows certainly that the stunts come to meet you, will never come about and so also should not be imitated!
The sound is a matter of taste in racing games. I'm probably not as the guy who pays attention often to the sound, but while playing with Dolby Surround me any music playback with "Pure" appears to be very good and appropriate. Engine noise and the background music can be distinguished and are also completely well together.
Only alone might control the "black sheep" in this game: For the casual player, it is in fact be very difficult to have the control to the touch, but also hardcore gamers would see their difficulties at the beginning. Sometimes it is really annoying to find the right combination at the tricks; where the game, too much value drauflegt to perform various tricks. Repeated tricks, there are the less boost and it's harder to get a higher rank. So if you get along not so well with the controller, it is recommended to practice diligently in the training mode or time trial.

Conclusion: A very successful racing game without realism of actions, but the environment and the design: The graphics looks pretty darn good, the eyes to feast on radiant colors shown. The thrill of speed is included and it really makes a lot of fun, not only for a short time!
