So much for the first single, the album itself begins with a sample that can immediately recall films such as "Full Metal Jacket" or "Jarhead", rather then seamlessly transitions into the opening track "Born To Lead". This song leaves no doubt that musical artists are at work here. The recognition factor is evident on the instrumentalization and the striking vocals. The third song, however, is waiting on the same at the beginning with a small ambivalence. He begins with choir-like vocals Canon and the lines "At least stop moving forword" which you may know from artists like "A Perfect Circle". After this track is followed by two right highlights of the album.
"Inside Of You" belongs in my opinion to the freshest songs of "Every Man for Himself". He comes rocking and therefore also sends itself to the mitgrooven, but is far from Newmetal-like mid tempo Quark. The guitar work convinced. "The First Of Me" captures vocal accented with muted guitars and runs wild in the chorus of in a "Wall of Sound", whose harmonies are great. This song is by the way also the second release of "Every Man for Himself". "Good Enough" joins with a similar structure in the schema. The next song "Without Fight" is again a tick rockier, starts strong impulsive. The chorus is my opinion, but not as strong as the verses that exude power.
"Do not Tell Me is probably as good as the only song that sporadically elements Old New Rock has times. Here is started with a relaxing and quiet intro verse rather hear a scream, and a chorus in the style of Linkin Park or older Hoobastank things follow. Nevertheless, this song is not necessarily plagiarism. Especially the little solo in the middle of the song fans. The next two songs are average fare, but most of them with some small items that can encourage them, in no way the skip button need to. "If Only" again also possible single material. The final track "More Than a Memory" vollend is a song of the quieter sort. The initial white with a great guitar melody sheet including Coldplay Dredg ARTIGEM effect to delight. again have already embarked on the "new" way to Hoobastank with "The Reason", and have now further developed. The two bonus tracks of the Limited Edition "Finally Awake" (rock) and "Waiting" (groovy) are also no failures.
As previously mentioned, the sound of this disc is no longer compare with their second album. What was on offer here is about wide terror extremely good alternative rock, who admittedly also likely to be well suited for radio / MTV and Viva, but what's wrong with that? ...
