The main reason for the move was the miserable battery life from the Nexus 4. With the Ridge I now have a phone that I do not need to charge every day. I think I'll go with average use about 5 days out (from yesterday to today only 15% - and I also installed some messages with Whatsapp written). The back of the Ridge I find very pretty with the sandstone optics. I have the Ridge in orange and think it's great. It looks really classy interesting. Some of my mates have already looked really jealous. What I think is great is KitKat 4.4.4 - unlike the Nexus 4 with Lollipop (which I already had some lousy bugged versions on it in the last 2 years) it is really running top, stable and error-free so far - I'm curious if the remains and Wiko as well programmed. Oh, and the camera is better compared to the Nexus camera to worlds. This is really no comparison. Even the Selfie camera does make very good pictures. The display is very bright and konstrastreich. Since the Nexus 4 had an IPS panel, I ask personally no deterioration fixed - rather a slight improvement (felt).
Positives: - Dual Sim (Hybrid Slot - I use a SIM card + SD) - Very light for 5 " - Great look with the aluminum and the sandstone back - Super long battery life - Qualcomm processor - 2GB Ram - Gorilla Glass 3 - Very good camera
Neutral: - "Only" KitKat 4.4.4 (which I personally find but great) - Processor only middle class (but is good for battery life)
Bad: - Not intended for permanent battery cover open and close (I think the plastic noses would not last long) Where my lint from his pocket to collect small gaps sometimes -
Overall, I would buy the phone definitely go back and also recommend unreservedly, for each of the investigated a smartphone with long battery life in this price range.
