General: I had this product then rated with restriction since me at that time was not yet available the information that it is definitely a question of the unabridged version. Steam is now often treated anyway a theme and thus far irrelevant to any reviews, because everyone knows what is happening on Steam. While it's never nice when huge update packages need to be downloaded, especially when the game is brand new and can then be started only hours after installation due to a slow Internet access, although it is anyway not played online (here would if not really absolutely necessary a demand for immediate or later update something very beautiful, so that only plays a little and then, for example, at night the update can be made), nor nice it is when some time is available to play but must first be updated (Left4Dead has me a day cost). Nevertheless, it is always very good when a game is constantly kept up to date, without which one only has to spend hours searching the internet for any errors and is then but find no remedy.
As a single main negative point in the Steam products is only to say that it is difficult or impossible to sell it, because of the forced bond accounts. If there would be a solution to this problem, I would appreciate a message.
The Game: At the box is just to say what they had to offer the most complete Half Life until that date of publication. Today is only the Orangebox better with more content. Excellent quality of the games, as you would expect from Half Life. And there are still provided updates.
