I am over 30, do not have much time to play, and therefore probably represents a different group than the standard Destiny buyers.
First, the single player mode:
Bad:
- The story is taken out of context and only forms per level partially any sense. Better makes the first addon which brings three story levels at least, which together form a closed story. Next leads yet Eris with a few forays at the end of a small (but until then you probably have anyway) beckons reward.
- The story makes little sense, and not a whole reveals itself. If one were to cut together everything in history, would have about Terminator 1 in the FSK 6 version. Not even about the cumbersome Grimoire system that I initially still pursued me and read through the cards is correct meaning in the whole. Meanwhile, is there any motivation with regard to Grimoire map reading continues.
Playing style:
- With lvl 20 is closing. Everything else is just about equipment. On the one hand quite nice (with already collected inventory can be a twink bring instant on the highest level), on the other hand totally annoying (new piece of equipment = A low level until it is leveled up).
- Unlike in other MMOs the player's level in one direction only plays a role. One can opponents the 4 levels are higher, no harm. On the other hand, you may loose a NPC umnieten on lvl 2 with lvl 32 yet. This is unfair, but would probably otherwise in the corresponding areas cause extreme boredom, so therefore even more in the area of what is tolerable.
- Game currencies such as mica were initially available in abundance. The fact that you, however the exo items resets mica with 7,500 and then must glimmer level up again with about 5,000, arises deficiency. Even the annoying in the long run because rotates again grind just all about it.
- Weapons ammunition you lose in changing weapons, in case of death of the character or simply the change of location. No one knows why, it is unnecessary and annoying.
- The Jedi chopper flying partly really bad and there is simply no choice.
- Spacecraft (which can be found anywhere from time to time) are mere optical Ladezeitaufhübscher. Needless, if you do not worry.
- Weapons do not really differ. This may sound rather wrong at first glance, but we see these things at times: It has automatic rifles, revolvers, rifles Scout (single shot) or pulse rifles (burst) available. Automatic raushaut much ammunition, makes little to almost no damage. Scout rifles are slow, but the individual loss is high. Pulse guns always firing three shots, take the result of one-third of a Scout rifle. Handguns, however, have Hochen output damage, slow rate of fire and hit nearby targets just really good. Since quite a few shots you can not put there by automatic and Pulse Rifle, where you want to stay only handgun for more opponents and scout rifle for longer distances. This is ultimately a matter of taste or playing style. In the end, but you can only choose between these two weapons, if you want to play effectively. Annoying if you like to use an automatic rifle and not a slot for Exowaffen has just released (for Suros).
- Keyword Exos:
Exos are weapons and equipment, outdo the standard item something. Sometimes very good (Gjallerhorn, icebreaker, Suros) sometimes very bad (extremely good advice and others). Unfortunately, Bungie has for only one provided a slot ready. So you can wear a Exowaffe and Exorüstungsteil. Does one of (are many reasons for) change, you have a cumbersome menu (in combat often impossible) and adjust its items there. Exos are more special than normal armor what Bungie has introduced to the collector's instinct to do justice. Only does not help, if I can collect 50 Exos, but only 20 places have in the vault. Many players have therefore turned their two twinks to Bankchars. Here Bungie should urgently rectify. The restriction applies to one part is stupid. Although one is forced to wear the purple equipment, but that is merely a deliberate hindrance the game progress, is not fun and annoying by the cumbersome menus.
- Load times, bank vaults, dealer, PVP system, lack of content, disregarding the group game. It'd give so much to complain about, but that can be determined otherwise read anywhere. The above points are the ones that bother me the most.
The Good:
With all the Gemeckere Destiny's a very good game. It took me months tied up (at the moment is a little out of the air) and were thus more worth than all the other games that I bought in recent years. The game itself is fast, exciting and always exciting. Although the strike list you five times in succession raises in the same level, so you are thinking about anyway if you now for the fifth time again send the Archon priest in hell or at last ausmachst. Weapons levels, collect, explore raids ... All of which brings again to insert the disc again myself.
For me, Destiny both the best and the worst game in 2014. Bungie has created much potential that they might use really good with a little tweaking. Hopefully the subjunctive does not remain unproductive in this case, otherwise nothing will be the 10-year timetable.
