Much worse than the previous processing

For several months we have been the predecessor (ME371), with which we are very satisfied, we missed only the back camera and a slightly faster processor - both, the successor (ME372) now, we have been today.

Unfortunately, apart from the above-mentioned 2 things to report only negative about the new model. The build quality has really subsided arg. The Fonepad consists entirely of the cheapest plastic. Nothing more to see of the aluminum cover of the predecessor. If you left or right touches the tablet to the frame just a little harder the backlight shines more by - the screen can be pressed virtually. From the speakers is often a crack to hear - for example, even if you change the volume settings. The settings menu and several other indicators have now the background color "white" - no longer "black" as its predecessor and as with Android commonplace. The disadvantage brighter backgrounds is a higher power consumption - in other words the excellent battery life of its predecessor will certainly not be achieved. In the default email app a folder appears in French, as it has probably gehapert on the translation.

All the above not only have we at our Fonepad but an acquaintance who owns the Fonepad 7 also, the same mistakes to his unit has noticed.

Overall, one gets the impression that the tablet "with hot needle knitted" was to quickly take even the holiday shopping season.
